I’m quite proud to say that yesterday’s test run of homemade yogurt was a fabulous success! Yoplait and Stoneyfield Farms, eat your heart out- my honey almond yogurt is so yummy. When I brought it inside from incubating in the backyard, I cracked open a jar to see if maybe I had just cultured some form of health hazardous sour milk, but it smelled like birthday cake! So I let it cool in the fridge overnight and ate a bit this morning. Even my daughter exclaimed “Yummy!”
I am so pleased- no more plastic cups, better eating habit, and the satisfaction of knowing I can do it myself.
